Shuttle Endeavour Departs LAX Airport Hangar

The trip of space shuttle Endeavour from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) through the streets of Inglewood and Los Angeles to the California Science Center began early in the morning local time when NASA's youngest orbiter left a United Airlines hangar in which it had been staged since arriving at LAX on September 21.
