Greeks say Merkel visit unwelcome

Thousands of people are protesting outside the Greek parliament against the visit of Angela Merkel.

Many blame Germany and her personally for their country's plight and the subsequent painful reforms Athens has promised to undertake.

The protest comes despite a ban on demonstrations in most of central Athens and the presence of some 6,000 police officers to provide security.
