Fresh clashes erupt between police, miners

More violence erupt at the Marikana platinum mine in South Africa.
 
Police have again fired on striking miners, trying to break up the gathering.

Earlier they used rubber bullets and tear gas but the miners have refused to leave.

Police have also been searching the homes of miners for weapons.
 
South Africa's government has vowed to end the five week strike, which is threatening the country's biggest industry.
