Syria denies use of heavy weapons in Tremseh

The Syrian government has denied carrying out mass killings or using heavy weaponry in the village of Tremseh.

Activists say more than 100 were killed there on Thursday, but a foreign ministry spokesman says far fewer people died.

The government says it was battling heavily-armed terrorists.
