Turkey turning to NATO over downed jet

Turkey says it's going to consult with its NATO allies over what to do after Syria shot down one of its military jets.

The Turkish foreign minister has acknowledged that the reconnaissance aircraft strayed into Syrian airspace.

But he says it was not armed - and that Damascus did not follow internationally recognised procedures.
