Yemen's Saleh hands over power

Yemen's new president, Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, officially took power during a ceremony in the capital, Sanaa, on Monday.

Hadi was the vice-president to Ali Abdullah Saleh, who stepped down in a power-transfer deal to end months of protests against his rule.

Hadi will serve a two-year transitional term.
