The stars of Indian cinema have turned out for their biggest awards night, but not in Mumbai or New Delhi, rather in Toronto, Canada.
Bollywood spends an estimated $120m annually on making films abroad and the city is hoping to pick up a share of that investment.
For Indian cinema, it is another step in their effort to tap into the lucrative North American market.
