Poland and Russia church leaders in reconciliation call

The leaders of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Catholic Church in Poland have signed a joint call in Warsaw for reconciliation between their two countries after centuries of troubled relations.

Patriarch Kirill and Archbishop Jozef Michalik also vowed to uphold religion in public life in Europe, criticising abortion, euthanasia, gay marriage and consumerism.
