Former Punjab minister Bibi Jagir Kaur, convicted and lodged in a Kapurthala jail in connection with the abduction and death of her daughter, hets parole for 28 days. Jagir Kaur is sentenced to 5 years imprisonment by a CBI court for conspiring in forcible abortion and abduction in connection with the mysterious death of her teenaged daughter Harpreet Kaur 12 years ago.
