This gentle hatha yoga class will help you understand some of the basics of yoga poses while enjoying a well sequenced experience. Often beginner or gentle classes can be choppy with little emphasis given to sequencing. There is both an art and science to sequencing, you will experience some of that in this class.
A balanced approach to physical yoga should leave the student feeling clear, centered and at ease. While it is popular to use yoga classes as workouts, that is really not the most sophisticated way to reap the most benefits from practice - pushing oneself hard in yoga seems to be the antitheses of what yoga is meant to be.
