Home Exercises Without Equipment

This small video is one of a series of videos explaining exercises to do at home and the advantages.

Lack of fitness, diseases and injuries can set us back; also make us prefer to back off trying because we don't know ways to feel better. Developing your health and wellbeing is always achievable, no matter what your age is or your level of ability!

A healthy body requires muscles, ligaments, joints and nerves working together in harmony. However, this balance can be easily upset by disease, injury or more commonly a lack of normal fitness.

By utilizing do at home exercises and using a workout without weights you can discover ways to manage these conditions by correcting and improving your body's capacity to heal itself through strategies such as:

Mobilization and Manipulation of Joints
Guidance on posture
Structured exercises
Persistence
And most importantly - a "can do" attitude

Working out home exercises without equipment only needs common sense and your ability to listen to your body. By complying with these simple guidelines, you will help your body to heal itself without creating any further injury.

That is all it takes to apply the following three stages to obtain great results with your workout without weights:

1) Mobility (Essential)
Use exercises at this level to gradually encourage and enhance movement of the joint (s).

2) Flexibility (Intermediate)
These exercises will call for you to hold a stretch for a specific amount of minutes while progressively increasing the time.

3) Strength and Stability (Advanced)
Back muscle and ab exercises without equipment will strengthen your core to shield your internal organs and sustain a healthy posture.

Exercises without equipment only call for:

Small hand weights 250g to 500g (2x 440g cans will do!)
Elastic exercise bands such as Cliniband or Theraband (obtainable from a Sports shop or a Physiotherapist)
A rolled bath towel
A broomstick or walking stick
