Valldemossa is one of the best known villages in Spain. Composer Frédéric Chopin and writer George Sand spent the winter of 1838/39 there. Because of the inhospitalaty of the inhabitants, they had to leave early than planed. Today the Valldemossins live from the tourists who come to visite the famous village.
