President Saleh 'leaves Yemen'

Yemen's president Ali Abdullah Saleh has reportedly left his country to seek medical treatment in neighbouring Saudi Arabia.

He was injured in a rocket attack on the presidential palace in Sanaa on Friday.

But the Yemeni government says he is in good health and denies reports that he has left the country.

Later, sources told Al Jazeera that Saleh remained in Sanaa, with a Saudi plane ready to bring him to Saudi Arabia if needed.
