Countries, including the US, are reacting to the news that Libya may soon embrace a future without Muammar Gaddafi after a four decade rule.

US State department, spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said diplomats from
the 'Libya Contact Group' - comprising mostly countries that took part in NATO's air campaign in support of the rebels - would meet in Istanbul Thursday.
