At this prison about 3 hours drive outside of Sao Paulo, prisoners are taking part in an innovative and voluntary new program - spending their time pedalling on these stationary bikes. But it's not about the exercise. For every pedal, they are charging car batteries attached to the bikes. At night its these batteries that power the lights in a local park that previously didn't have electricity. Al Jazeera's Gabriel Elizondo reports
