The Egyptian revolution that toppled Hosni Mubarak had particular resonance in Israel.

The country lost one of its closest allies in the region, and a loyal partner in security and now with the Muslim Brotherhood poised to make great gains in the elections, Israel's long-standing peace treaty with Egypt is again coming into question.
