Sudan Chad in joint army operation

With less than a month left until Sudan's referendum on independence, a joint military operation with neighbouring Chad is helping to calm tensions on the border.

Leaders of both countries had accused each other of harbouring rebel militias.

But now a joint patrol unit is working to secure the border region.
