Several doctors and a former senior health ministry official have been indicted as part of an investigation into illegal organ trafficking in Kosovo.

European Union prosecutors have submitted a file on the case to Kosovan authorities.

The indictment names five people accused of trafficking in human organs and involvement in organised crime.
