This is an epic story about when their husbands were killed by the Song army, two pregnant women escaped, Li Ping gave birth to Guo Jing, a sturdy but blockheaded young man while Bao Xiruo gave birth to Yang Kang, smart and crafty.
Guo Jing was told to find his sworn brother (Yang Kang). He meets Huang Rong, smart, witty and an exellent fighter on the way, who assist him in many ways. She becomes a key character in helping Guo Jing become more powerful by finding him a martial arts teacher.
When a pact between their martial arts masters brought them together and the truth behind their fathers' deaths was revealed, Guo Jing found martial arts enlightenment and a cause greater than his own while Yang Kang descended into darkness and destroyed everything and everyone around him.
This series is about good and evil, revenge, training, becoming stronger, who should have such an immense amount of power and the correct way of using such power.

Beggar Sect chief (Qigong) was seriously injured, giving the chief position to Huang Rong, however, Yang Kang decided to take take the stick and claimed he was the chief, as well as lying about Qigong's death, and Huang Rong and Guo Jing were the disciples of whoever killed Qigong. However, Huang Rong was intelligent to get their way out of this mess and defeat him and others.
Huang Rong is strong, independant and one of the best action-heroines created. She is very protective, kind and will not allow anyone to bully her Jing-gege. Anyone who wants to see a strong female character should defintiely watch this, especially feminists.
Recommendations
If anyone loves anime, especially action-fighting based anime such as Naruto, Bleach, One Piece and others, you should definitely check this out. There is quite a big similarity between Naruto and LOCH, the relationship between Guo Jing, who is willing to trust his sworn brother till the end, even when everyone else does not believe he is good, is similar to Naruto's determination of bringing Sasuke back. There are many similar aspects in character development, fighting which anime fans should love.
