Pakistan polo festival angers feuding tribes

The Shandur Polo Festival is one of the few major public sporting events still held in Pakistan.

Shandur Top, at 3,700 metres above sea level, is the highest polo ground in the world.

Thousands of people from across Pakistan and around the globe attend the three- day festival every year.

The deteriorating security situation has put an end to most international competitions at home.

While the competition is usually peaceful, this year things got out of hand in a game opposing two tribes involved in a territorial feud.

Al Jazeera's Imtiaz Tyab reports from Ghizar in Northern Pakistan.
