An Atlas 5 Rocket sucessfully launched from Vanderberg Air Force Base in California tonight at 9:24pm local.
The 411 variation rocket carried a National Reconnaissance Office Satellite to orbit. This flight marks the 25th flight of the Atlas 5 Rocket and of a very special variation with one single solid rocket motor.
