Scottish singer-songwriter Amy MacDonald took a year off to work on her third album Life In A Beautiful Light, which was released on June 11, 2012. The decision resulted from her previous album A Curious Thing, which she wrote under great pressure from the record company. "If I had time, I would be able to do better," says MacDonald.
