Space Shuttle Atlantis Moves From Processing Hangar To VAB

Shuttle Atlantis was moved from its processing hangar, Orbiter Processing Facility-2, to the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Jan. 20. Atlantis will be temporarily stored inside the VAB while shuttle Endeavour takes its place in the hangar to undergo transition and retirement processing.
Atlantis is being prepared for public display at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in 2013.
