Five men gunned down in Cyprus tourist resort

In what is believed to be one of the worst incidents of gangland violence in Cyprus, five men have been shot dead in a mafia-style ambush.

The three Cypriots and two Romanians, who worked as private security guards for a local businessman, had been travelling in a car when they were gunned down in the tourist resort of Ayia Napa.
