A day after it's formed, the new unity government in Tunisia is under mounting pressure. Angry demonstrators took to the streets, refusing to recognise a transitional government that contains eight ministers from the deposed president Zine El Abidine Ben Ali.
From the government itself, a number of ministers announced their withrawal; they are all from the Tunisian Labour Union, which played a key role in the protests against Ben Ali. Announcing his government, Mohammed Ghannouchi, prime minister, said its aim was democracy for the country.
So, is Tunisia making progress, or heading for more instability?
