Google to launch controversial privacy settings

Google is set to introduce controversial new privacy settings for users of its range of internet services on March 1.

The internet giant says the changes will enable it to handle personal information in a way that improves user experience, but privacy rights groups have concerns about the company's plans to use private data and say it is difficult for users to opt out.
