Thousands flee violence in Sudan's Abyei

The UN has told Al Jazeera that 80 000 people have fled from the disputed Sudanese border region of Abyei - five days after Northern troops took over the area.

Both sides say they will meet in Ethiopia on Saturday to begin talks to end the violence.
 
Al Jazeera has gained rare access to the flashpoint region.
