Fugitive Taliban leader threatens Pakistan

A leader of the Pakistani Taliban who was thought to be dead has appeared in a video and he is threatening a new wave of suicide bombings.

Fazlullah says the Taliban's withdrawal from the Swat valley last year was not a defeat but a tactical retreat.

Fazlullah has been on the run since the Pakistani army's offensive in the country's northwest ended years of Taliban rule.

And now he is asking suicide bombers to target the Pakistani military and nationalist forces in the country.
