Radovan Karadzic, the former Bosnian-Serb wartime leader, stood defiant as his trial at the Hague resumed on Monday. Karadzic faces a number of charges in connection to the war in the Balkans in the early 1990s and could face life imprisonment if convicted. Is this trial politically motivated?
