The opposition Free Syrian Army (FSA) has rejected responsibility for a recent wave of deadly blasts in Syria.

The movement says the government has orchestrated the bombings as a ploy to make the country's protest movement appear violent.

Al Jazeera's Hashem Ahelbarra spoke to Ammar Wawi, an FSA officer who defected from the regular army, about the progress of the uprising.
