In defence of Iranians' rights

Preparations are underway in Iran for mass rallies to mark 31 years since the Islamic Revolution.

The political opposition wants its supporters to join in, but authorities are warning them away, and have already arrested several people said to be planning demonstrations.

There is at least one prominent conservative who agrees with the opposition that the anniversary belongs to all Iranians, and he spoke to to Al Jazeera's Nazanine Moshiri.
