Turkey's prime minister says he's ready to try a radical solution to end the country's conflict with the Kurdish separatist movement.
His comments are being echoed by Abdullah Ocalan, the jailed leader of the PKK fighters, who says it is time to make peace.

Ocalan is expected to announce a peace plan to end the conflict, which started 25 years ago today.

Al Jazeera's Anita McNaught reports from Diyarbakir in South East Turkey.
