Many young Iranians have rejected what they see as the religious fervour of Irans ruling elite, with some

insisting that voting cannot bring the change they feel Iran needs.

But others say their apathy could play into the hands of conservatives, helping to strengthen the policies that have alienated many born after the Islamic Revolution.
