Sudan worries grow over declining oil prices - 19 May 09

Ravaged by bloody conflicts, Sudan's worsening economy is a major concern for most of its people.

The bad times are exacerbating a divide between the country's north and south. Though most of its oil reserves lie in the south, the revenues it generate mostly go to the central government in the north.

Now, plummeting oil prices have heightened tensions and many are blaming the government.
