30-Second Sci-Fi Book Review #1 Hyperion (1989) by Dan Simmons My first review in this series, a project inspired by the Sword and Laser podcast.
Unfortunately, I do not recommend the book, amazing as it was. A very poor follow-up can ruin a great thing, and that's what happened here. It's my understanding that Hyperion and it's sequel were written together as a single volume, but they sure don't read that way. Too bad.
