FARC rebels have attacked and killed four Colombian soldiers in the southern Caqueta region.
The anti-narcotics brigade were ambushed as they were dropped from helicopters on a mission to destroy a FARC cocaine processing plant.
Four other troops, a police officer and a French journalist are reported missing.
