Food aid and shelter have finally begun arriving in flood-striken Mozambique.

The country has been swamped by what's been described as the worst flooding in recent memory.

Tens of thousands of people have been forced to move to higher ground to escape the rising waters.

But hundreds have been left stranded in villages along the Zambezi river.
