Based on the winning dramatic text, the play is characterised in the first place by a thoughtful, innovative and accurate directorial concept. The theme of social poverty and worker strikes will naturally still occupy the attention of our dramatists: the directorial procedure is based on the exploration of the possibility of contemporary stage form, modality of distance, separation of the audio-segment from the physical, i.e. the mechanical reproduction of the actors’ voices. In the form of an atypical and ascetic musical, the play combines in an interesting way the themes of social and political life with elements of trash poetics and pop culture.
