Terrorists fired at least one rocket at Israel's southern resort city of Eilat Wednesday night. Reports of 3 large explosions had security forces canvassing the city. The remnants of a grad rocket were eventually found on a residential construction site. A military source confirmed that the IDF had no concrete information suggesting Eilat was in immediate danger of rocket fire. Security forces continued to search for traces of more rockets, thought to have been fired toward the city from the Sinai Peninsula. The IDF has been on high alert across the Israel-Egypt border following several attempts to mount terror attacks in the sector. Still, the police said that so far, no special security orders have been issued for residents and tourists. Following the Grad attack on Eilat, the IDF is considering deploying an Iron Dome battery down south to protect the city. No injuries or damage were reported.
