Encana is Named Among the World’s Most Ethical Companies, and UPS Raises $2 Million Dollars for the Toys for Tots Literacy Program - CSR Minute for April 2, 2012

Encana has been ranked among the world’s most ethical large companies by The Ethisphere Institute. The Canadian firm was one of four companies named in the Energy and Utilities: Natural Gas category. A number of groups within Encana are focused on ethical business practice, including Legal Services, Financial Compliance and Audit, Corporate Responsibility, and the company’s field staff. The Ethisphere Institute is an international think tank dedicated to the advancement of best practices in business ethics, corporate social responsibility, anti-corruption and sustainability.

The UPS Store, the exclusive sponsor of the Toys for Tots Literacy Program, has raised $2 million for the reading program since it began in 2008. The initiative offers direct access to books and educational resources to the most economically disadvantaged children.
