An usual take on an Easter theme. These cakes are simple sponge with a green butter cream. I used an ice cube tray mould to make chocolate maoi heads and a little fondant to make pink flowers!
My inspiration was chocolate covered jelly eggs. I used a chocolate cupcake, iced with chocolate buttercream and spread flaked chocolate onto the cupcakes with the speckled eggs as decoration.
For the colourful cupcakes i used a vanilla cupcake, with a swiss meringue buttercream, dipped in different colour vermicelli and decorated with speckled eggs. Very tasty indeed!
