So there were these four guys in Edmonton that played way too much moody, intense 90's rock 'n roll; at some point it became apparent that a change of scene was necessary. "Hey," said Mat, "Why don't we make some pop music - that'd be fun!" I don't actually know how that conversation happened exactly, but what I do know is that PRE/POST makes some damn tasty pop music. And the kind of pop music that comes out of a bunch of guys that listen to a lot of other tasty music; you know, like the stuff that you listen to... Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah... So Mat wrote some songs, then Jon programmed some beats on his computer, then Ry and Ty pounded out some deadly rhythms and Wha-La, they were suddenly playing some killer pop music! Pretty soon they were playing some shows, before long a neat little EP called "Strangers in the City" was born. Oh, and that only costs like a couple bucks on Bandcamp BTW. (What!). Last I heard, they were getting ready to record a new record! They don't usually follow through with those kinds of threats, but maybe they'll surprise us... who knows? Maybe if we bug them enough they'll do it just to get us off their backs
