Shalit will undergo a medical checkup at a nearby military base and will speak to his parents on the phone. He will be handed a new IDF uniform to wear and will be flown to the Tel Nof air base. There he will be met by his parents and brother and sister and grandfather and will later meet with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Ehud Barak and Chief of Staff Lt Gen.
