Infolive.tv - Israel News - Eight Knesset Members held a daytime visit in Joseph's Tomb in Nablus on Tuesday, the first such visit since the year 2000. They were accompanied by IDF forces and hundreds of Palestinian officers. MK Arieh Eldad of the National Union party said that they came not only for historic reasons, but to make Arabs see that there is no place in the Land of Israel they could not enter. The lawmakers entered the city on a guarded bus, while Palestinian officers were deployed on main traffic routes. The tour was attended by Deputy Minister of Pensioner Affairs Lea Nass and Likud MKs Ze'ev Elkin, Danny Danon and Tzipi Hotovely as well as the entire National Union faction. Shomron Regional Council head Gershon Mesika said that he demanded the MKs to implement Israel's sovereignty in Joseph's Tomb "which", he said, "even according to the miserable Oslo Accords is ours."
