Israeli citizens often use free GPS application called WAZE, which is a social network application provided to navigate roads according to current reports by other users of the same application. Waze offers a convenient apt to date information regarding traffic jams, short cuts and suggestions to avoid mistunes. According to head of the Shin Bet security office, Yuval Diskin, soldiers too tend to use this application, revealing highly classified military information to whomever whishes to find this data useful and intersecting, including spectators from enemy states. Responding to these accusations, IDF spokesperson's unit has stated that there's an explicit command regarding this matter, forbidding any usage of cell phones during military trainings, operational activities and classified deliberations.
