French presidential candidate Segolene Royal, on a Middle East tour, has already become embroiled in an incident involving anti-Israeli remarks made by a Hezbollah parliamentarian. At the same time, her opponent, Nicolas Sarkozy, has announced his candidacy, and will probably receive most of the Jewish votes Royal is hoping to win over on her Israel visit. 4/12/06
