In his first interview since the release of the Winograd interim report, Defense Minister Amir Peretz says elections now is not the answer and could lead to right wing elements taking power, something he opposes. Defense Minister Amir Peretz said he has no intention of resigning because of the Winograd Comittees interim report findings, but intends to hand back the Defense Ministry post to Kadima, immediately after the Labor Party primaries and demand instead the Finance Ministry position. Over a month ago I said that immediately after the Primaries, whether I win or not, I intend to return the defense ministry post to the Kadima Party and demand instead the Finance Ministry.''
