Over 25,000 Jews remain in Iran, the majority have relatives living in Israel. Quick to spot the potential and use it to its advantage, Iranian Intelligence officials have increased their efforts in recent years to recruit Israelis to spy on their behalf.According to the Shin Bet, 10 Israelis detained for questioning but none were brought to trial as although they admitted to having been recruited, none of them revealed information that could harm the security of the State.Another point to consider is that according to Israeli law, Iran is not considered an enemy of the State.
