Israel reacts to the new Palestinian unity government

Israel reacted to the formation of a Hamas-Fatah Palestinian unity government by saying it would not cooperate with the government, as it does not specifically recognize Israel's right to exist and supports continued violence.  Prime Minister Olmert might find it increasingly difficult to maintain the international economic boycott on the Palestinian Authority, as differing voices are already being heard in the European Union.
