While Israel and the Palestinians have made progress on the road to peace the sides will not succeed inclinching an agreement by the end of the year US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said at a farewellappearance at the United Nations. This is the first time in almost a decade that Palestinians and Israelis are addressing all of the core issues to try and reach a solution, and if that process takes a little bit longer.12/16/08
